About Us

Her Garage started with two terrible dealership experiences and one simple question: Why doesn’t a car space exist that actually feels like it was built for us?

Not for the guy who wants to argue about torque curves. Not for the comment section that tells you to “just Google it.” A space where asking whether you can drive in heels, fit your dog crate in the back, or feel safe walking to your car at night isn’t dismissed — it’s the whole point.

We’re a women-only, invite-only car community. That’s not a marketing gimmick. It’s the foundation of everything we do. Behind a door that only opens for women, real conversations happen — about first cars, family SUVs, weekend roadsters, cross-country moves, parking-garage anxiety, and the indescribable feeling of selling a car you loved.

Here, a detailed review of how a rotary dial saved your fresh manicure matters just as much as a spec sheet. A thread about the best cupholder for a 32oz Nalgene is treated like the public service it truly is. And when someone says “talk me out of the Tiguan,” she gets stories, not statistics — from sisters who’ve been there.

We don’t do “well, actually.” We don’t do gate keeping. We don’t do horsepower contests. What we do is show up for each other — online and, increasingly, in real life, through city-based meetups, canyon drives, and coffee runs that turn usernames into friends.

Her Garage is not a car forum with a women’s section. It’s a women’s community where cars are the thing that brings us together — and the friendships are what make us stay.

You’re welcome here. Come inside. We saved you a seat.
